Hi, I'm Dr. Ayşen Özün Türkçetin. I am a Lecturer at Suleyman Demirel University (SDU). My research interests revolve around Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, and Explainable AI (XAI), focusing primarily on real-world intelligent systems.
I am currently expanding my studies towards multimodal AI and perception for autonomous systems, including large language models (LLMs). I work on applied AI projects including UAV-based perception, thermal imaging, object detection, and biomimetic-inspired designs. I am highly open to international research collaborations in these fields.

I developed software in the IT department at Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University.
I worked as a doctoral fellow at the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). My task there was to identify the detection of sick people in crowded environments by detecting temperature with deep learning algorithms on thermal camera images.
